Important Notice for All Residents

Recently there have been some instances of tehft on the construction sites of our neighborhood. Sme of these consisted of Helotes Crossing residents removing materials for their own use. Continental Homes, the Helotes Crossing Sales office, and the Helotes Crossing Construction Superintendents want to make all the residents of Helotes Crossing aware that these crimes will not be tolerated, and the police will be called if others are seen in the act.

Please refrain from removing anything from the construction sites, including any lumber, masonry, drywall, shingles, wiring, tools, and anything else on the construction lots. this applies to any items found in the houses (attached, installed, or not), as well as the lot, but not in the house.

If there is something of interest you are interested in acquiring, you can always ask one of the superintendents for permission. Please be sure to ask one of the superintendents, and not the trsdes, as the trades do not have this authorty.

Newsletter Information Update

The response to the first Helotes Crossing Newsletter was very encouraging. A few mistakes were pointed out, and corrected, so you might want to review the Contact Information section on page 2 to get the latest information.

Since the time the first newsletter was distributed we discovered that each HCHOA Committees have pre-set budgets. We quickly calculated that the budget for the Newsletter Committee is too small to support a monthly distribution. There fore, we will only put out a newsletter once every two months. This should leave us with enough in the budget to cover unexpected costs. Although the online newsletter will remain current daily as news items pass our computer. (So if you do have something newsworthy to contribute email the webmaster.)

Several people in the community have submitted newsletters from other neighborhoods as examples for formatting and content. these are greatly appreciated, and you might see some similiar ideas pop into ours.

We hope that as our community grows the Helotes Crossing Newsletter will provide a valuable forum for homeowners communications. So, please keep those ideas coming. We appreciate all the input we recieve from the neighborhood, and will try to accommodate everyone's needs and desires in what you want from your newsletter.

Name the Newsletter!!

If you remember from the first newslettr, the newsletter needs a name. We thought that

since the newsletter belongs to the community, the community should make a decision. the name will be determined by the winner of the contest.

Quite a few new names have been submitted, and included on the Naming Content Voting Ballot included in this newsletter.

Please mark your vote from the selections available, and submit the ballots back to the Newsletter Committee Chairmain no later than November 20th.

The newsletter will be named by the winning vote. No more than one vote per address will be accepted.

The submitters of the winnign title will have bragging rights for a long time to come!
